SEAS is hiring!

The SEAS-team is now seeking applicants who want to contribute to investigating and developing new forms of scientific literacies in an age when this is urgently needed.

Currently there are two positions available: one post-doctoral research fellow position and one PhD research fellowship position. Both positions will be part of the Science Education for Action and Engagement towards Sustainability (SEAS) project, and involve interdisciplinary research in the intersection of science education, open schooling and education for sustainability.

Through SEAS, we will develop tools and methods that facilitate collaboration between schools and local communities facing sustainability challenges through what we call “open schooling”.

Open schooling involves schools cooperating with other institutions and organizations to achieve community well-being and to change the way in which science comes into the classroom and how the science-classroom makes a difference in the world.
